About Willamette Towers:
Willamette Towers was completed in 1965 and, rising to 13 stories, was Eugene's tallest downtown apartment building. It was designed in the modern period of American architecture known as International Style as a project of the federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department. It was converted to a condominium- formally a Home Owners Association (HOA)- in 1980. According to the Emporis website, Willamette Towers is the westernmost high rise in the contiguous 48 states.
Willamette Towers comprises 92 individually owned residential units including 4 penthouses, plus the ground floor which is leased to a variety of commercial offices and stores. Well-maintained common elements, attractive grounds, and a gated parking garage make for a practical yet appealing living environment. The Willamette Towers community is proud of its diversity and is drawn together by the common desire for safe, attractive, financially sound and pleasant living conditions in a convenient downtown location.
All of these factors combine to make the Willamette Towers a first class residence in the heart of Eugene.
